Carbon Black

Carbon Black is the residual substance that is left after the raw materials burn in an oxygen starved environment producing oil. This plays a major role in the color industry where it is largely used in newspaper ink staining and resin coloring.

The thermal stability of carbon black particles helped in the colouring of heat formed materials such as films and resins. Also its stable resistance helps in the manufacture of display components in electronics and magnetic recording materials.

Furthermore Carbon Black has been a reinforcing agent in rubber products specifically tyres and hoses for centuries and continues to be a majorly used raw material in this industry.

Its nano-particles help in electric conductivity and UV Absorption thus it is a preferred material in conductive fillers, plastics elastomers. Its resistance stability decreases the resistance in natural rubber when added to it.
